Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon: Super Eagles Knock Out Holders In AFCON Thriller

Nigeria ousted holders and bitter rivals Cameroon from the Africa Cup of Nations as they scored twice in three minutes to come from behind and win a thrilling last-16 match 3-2 on Saturday.
The encounter, as expected, started as a physical contest but Nigeria had the better chances in the opening minutes.
Odion Ighalo gave Nigeria a 19th-minute lead but Cameroon hit back with two goals in quick succession before halftime from Stephane Bahoken and Clinton Njie to take a 2-1 lead.
The former Watford striker bagged his second with just over an hour played to level things up and Arsenal winger Iwobi completed the comeback three minutes later.
Nigeria will now meet the winners of the last-16 tie between hosts Egypt and South Africa in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
