GOALS AND HIGHLIGHTS : BURNLEY 1-3 ARSENAL

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as Arsenal beat Burnley at Turf Moor, but the Gunners failed to finish in the top four for the third successive season.
Burnley had the better chances of a frenetic first half that saw Chris Wood hit the post before Matt Lowton’s shot was cleared off the line.
Aubameyang opened the scoring against the run of play in the 52nd minute, latching on to a poor backpass from Burnley’s Jack Cork and slotting the ball past keeper Tom Heaton.
The Gabonese striker scored from a back-post volley to put the Gunners in control shortly after the hour.
Ashley Barnes (65) pulled one back almost immediately, but substitute Eddie Nketiah (90+4) secured all three points in stoppage time as the Gunners finished fifth in the table.
With the fifth place finish, Unai Emery’s side qualifies straight into the Europa League group stage next season.
However, Arsenal can still qualify for the Champions League with victory in the Europa League final against Chelsea in Baku later this month – a trophy Emery has already lifted three times.
